We're reaching out from a place that is very personal to our family. The Butterfly Wings Jewell Foundation was created in memory of our precious daughter, Jewell Anslee Efird, who we lost on May 22, 2024. Jewell was hard of hearing, and through our journey with her—and with her sister Cheyenne, who is also hard of hearing—we experienced firsthand the overwhelming cost of hearing aids and devices. We know what it feels like to want to give your child every opportunity, but face financial barriers along the way. Because of Jewell, we have made a promise to help other families in that same position.
Since starting the foundation, we have helped three families, and each one means the world to us. Every child we help is another way Jewell’s light continues to shine. Our mission is to help children hear the world and the word of God, one wing at a time. As we continue to grow, we are reaching out to ask for your support. Any donation or sponsorship—big or small—goes directly toward helping provide hearing aids and resources for children in need.
